There were rumours that the Russo brothers were also composing the origin narrative for Randeep Hooda's Saju in January 2021.[7]
The sequel was originally scheduled to begin filming in Sydney, Australia, in September 2021; however, precautions connected to the COVID-19 pandemic moved production toPrague.[8] Prior to Hemsworth's announcement that he began filming his sequences on December 4, Hargrave confirmed that principle photography had started in Prague, Czech Republic.[10] Additional filming continued in Vienna, Austria, from January 28, 2022, through February 14, 2022. At Donau City, scenes were filmed close to the DC Towers.[11] The last day of shooting was April 6, 2022.[12] The movie was shot using the same long-take techniques from the first movie on ARRI ALEXA Mini LF cameras.[13] The movie had reshoots in Prague in November 2022.[14]
